Roast piglet is certainly the most famous dish in the region, amongst other dishes, such as crisp toasted pork, mutton, Cabra à Lampantana (goat meat) and the also the cod fish dish Bacalhau à Lagareiro, accompanied by the famous regional wines.

Taste pastry such as Pastéis de Águeda, the Easter cake, “Barrigas de Freira”, “Fuzis” and cracknels.
